MONTALTO FARM

Montalto Farm has belonged to the Gomes Pereira family for five generations. It comprises 50 hectares on the whole, including vineyards, olive groves, orchards, forests, which form a magnificent mosaic in the landscape.

Being incorporated in the great vine-growing region of Lisbon, the 15 hectares of vineyards, planted on slopes of chalky clay soil with excellent sun exposure, produce wines entitled to bear the designation of origin Encostas D’Aire.

Located in the center of the country in the region of Ourém, near Fátima, and with a long wine tradition (where we can highlight the so old and historic Medieval de Ourém Wine), Montalto Farm has a wide array of grape varieties, being Aragonez and Fernão Pires the most important red and white grapes.

In addition to the wines and smooth fruity sparkling wines, there are also jams, preserved products and vinegars, which are processed on the farm.
